SOLD Moonstone Mala with Peruvian Opal

127.00

Moonstone has long been associated with the moon due to its iridescence. The most valuable stones also have a property, called adularescence, that makes the moonlike sheen appear to move across the surface.

The exquisite beads on this moonstone mala possess both. The mala is a joy to hold and to see. It’s a saturated, dusty mauve color that radiates light.

Like the moon, moonstone is a symbol of feminine energy. This may be why moonstone malas are so valued for meditation practice. Their vibration supports love, compassion and open awareness. Qualities we are cultivating in many of our practices.

The divider bead is a wonderously carved bead of rare Peruvian opal.

The Guru bead is fancy jasper, carved in the shape of a lotus. The lotus flower grows in mud, yet it’s flowers rise and bloom, pure and unstained. It’s a rich symbolic meaning, which is why you’ll find it in many of my offerings.
